Hi, my name is Oleksii
I am entrepreneur, board member and strategic business consultant in ophthalmology. My story is based on private sector development derived from 25 years of practical approach on highly competitive and challenging markets and a really unique patient education expertise.

I have learned that a patient is one who pays all the bills for all of us, working in ophthalmology - the manufacturers, the distributors, the clinics. That's why, I build all my business projects on a patient-centric approach.

I believe that professional education and patient communication shall be personalised, based on the value our customer really perceives, not even "needs", and a clinical integration shall be tailor made to adapt the personality of the clinic owner and the value the clinic want to focus on, targeting the patient needs.
My proven success track records confirms the value of that approach.
My story
Living in Spain now, I was born and in Kyiv, Ukraine, where I graduated physics and mathematics intense education school, and get masters degree of computer science at National Technical University of Ukraine and ended up with Senior Executive MBA degree in MIM business school, Accreditations from AMBA, BGA and CEEMAN, having legal law and psychology education in between.
I started my career as an ophthalmic surgical equipment service engineer and application specialist in 1996, at my own distribution company. At that time, cataract surgery was not developed in Ukraine, and my company was the pioneer in phaco innovation implementation in all the Ukraine. To be successfull, we had to help our customers to be successfull. And we grew up more than 50 private opthalmic centers in Ukraine, from the scratch, in the absence of reimburcement, medical insurance, low invome and high competition environment. ​

Nowadays, as my distribution business if fully functional with no my involvement, within last 5 years I am fully focused on strategic consulting based on patient-centric approach, as it is my success source for years. And I dedicate all of my time and passion to patients needs studying, and the findings implementation in my the patient communication consultancy.
